President's Message

As the world was in lock down, our goal was to keep our community sustained and involved, while also dealing with the emotional and financial impacts of COVID.
Jeff Lipson, President GRJC

As a community, we were able to keep our Nursery and Hebrew School students engaged, held services and bar and bat mitzvahs via Zoom, arranged vaccine appointments for our seniors, donated hundreds of bags of food and overall kept our community safe. Now we look forward to a new beginning.

I send a huge thank you to our dedicated trustees, Rabbi Schlosberg, staff and volunteers for all they have done to get us to this moment, and to you, our GRJC members, who have generously supported us emotionally and financially.

We cannot do what we do without all of you.

For all you ice hockey fans, as New York Islanders Coach Barry Trotz said, "If you want to go somewhere quick, you go alone. If you want to go somewhere far, you go as a group.”

We are here for you - if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Call, email or "like" us on Facebook and Instagram.

As we emerge from this past year, it feels more important than ever for our community to face our new challenges together.  I look forward to seeing all of you again soon.

Best,
Jeff Lipson

President
