The Glen Rock Jewish Center seeks to enrich the lives of our congregants through ever-evolving ideals of observance, life-long learning and acts of kindness from this generation to the next. We are committed to meeting the spiritual, educational and social needs of our members through the practice of Conservative Judaism in an all-inclusive manner. We encourage and create a sense of belonging by serving our community, the Jewish people and the State of Israel.
The GRJC is conveniently situated just 15 miles from midtown Manhattan. Our synagogue benefits from its proximity to an abundance of nationally and internationally recognized organizations and schools which support Jewish life and learning in the tri-state region. Since our founding in 1958, the GRJC has been central to Jewish life in this scenic tree-lined Bergen County community of 12,000. Glen Rock and its surrounding towns offer classic main street settings, top-ranked school systems and thriving cultural diversity. Glen Rock also just a short drive from many of the area's finest kosher restaurants and markets.
