GRJC Raises Awareness about Anti-Semitism

The GRJC is proud of our ongoing commitment to educate our members and the broader public about anti-Semitism.  We are honored to be a Signature Synagogue through the ADL and partner with them to educate both adults and youth each year.  This includes lectures, interactive presentations and workshops around hate crimes, racial bias, anti-Zionism and combating bullying in our schools.

These articles describe two programs we organized as part of our ongoing commitment to combat anti-Semitism:

"Organizing Against Hate," describing our volunteer efforts to organize a program with former NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal.
"Dealing with Intolerance, Near and Far," highlighting a talk called "What's Going on in Israel? How to Respond to Anti-Semitism, Anti-Zionism and Talk to our Kids About this World of Chaos."

Thank you to the co-chairs of our GRJC Signature Synagogue program, Vivian Genn-Pittman and Amy Handler, who are also committed to bringing awareness to the administration, staff and students of our Glen Rock Public Schools.
