Learn how to serve as a gabbai for the Torah service – one of the people who helps coordinate the Torah service during services. We will learn how to serve as gabbai sheni, the 2nd gabbai, who assists the first gabbai and helps the person taking an Aliyah. We will also learn how to serve as gabbai rishon, the 1st gabbai who calls people to the Torah. The class will be run by Rabbi Schlosberg and Gordon Remer. Anyone b’nei mitzvah age and older is welcome to learn!
