PeeWee Enrichment
The Glen Rock Jewish Center is now registering for its afternoon PeeWee
Enrichment Program for preschoolers. This program will begin in September
2006 and continue throughout the school year. PeeWee Enrichment is being
taught by certified teacher Jill Gurian, and will cover many areas including
cooking, art, music and movement, authors, artists, musicians, nature and the
environment, hands-on science, countries and cultures, and lots more. This
program is open to all and will take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
afternoons from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. An optional lunchtime is available from
11:30 to 12:30 p.m.
"Many children in our area attend morning preschool, but their parents want
something a few afternoons a week that is fun and different from what they are
getting in the morning. PeeWee Enrichment gives our three and four year
olds the opportunity to explore and experience new areas in greater depth, while
maintaining a fun, playtime atmosphere.," said teacher Jill Gurian. "There
are also some three and four year olds who are not yet in preschool and this is
a wonderful program for them as well."
Children can attend one, two, or all three afternoons.
