Late September/October is one of the most
special times of the year at the Glen Rock Jewish Center. After
observing Yom Kippur, the most solemn and sacred day on the Jewish
calendar, the GRJC dives into autumn as teachers and students go
back to class while colorful events reflect the beauty of the
local fall foliage.
A listing of the GRJC’s unique early autumn
happenings, as well as its popular, recurring events, follows:

UPCOMING EVENTS
AN ISRAEL ADVENTURE: Archaeology,
Wine-tasting, Mystical Tzfat, Shabbat in Jerusalem
GRJC welcomes all members of the
larger community to join us on an exciting trip to Israel in
February of 2010. This trip is a wonderful opportunity for
first time travelers or for those returning to Israel for a
repeat visit. The proposed itinerary is still in its planning
stages and input and questions are welcome from anyone
considering the trip. By traveling at an off-peak season, just
prior to President's week, we have kept the cost of the trip
very low, and the more people that join the trip, the lower the
cost will be! For more information, please call or email Rabbi
Neil Tow at 201-421-9811 or
rabbi@grjc.org.
