Glen Rock Jewish Center Principal Chosen For International Program

Rachel Blumenstyk, principal of the Glen Rock Jewish Center Religious School, has been chosen to participate in an exciting program, which will bring together the communities of northern New Jersey and Israel.

Under the supervision of the United Jewish Association of Northern New Jersey (UJANNJ), Partnership 2000 links the people and communal organizations of northern New Jersey with its Israeli sister city, Nahariya.  The goal of Partnership 2000 is to work together to build relationships and share ideas, resources and programs.

Education is one of the key task forces of the larger group, and Ms. Blumenstyk brings to the table nearly 20 years of experience as a religious school educator.  This is also a wonderful opportunity for the students at the Glen Rock Jewish Center, who will be able to make a direct connection with Israeli students through their teachers and programs.  Ms. Blumenstyk is part of a group of principals that will work towards sharing ideas and curriculum with Nahariya.
